Effective Training Strategies for Ensuring that
Training is Implemented

  • A lot of training is wasted because there are no strategies in place to ensure that training is practised. This workshop deals with this problem by introducing the participants to a large number of techniques that will make sure that their employees put into practice what they learn at a training course.
  • This very useful workshop is the foundation stone of an annual training plan. If Team Leaders, Trainers, and the Trainees make effective use of the strategies, newly trained knowledge, skills and behaviours will be practised, and this will help to improve the standards and work atmosphere in their operation.
  • The workshop provides Team Leaders with many techniques:
    • to make sure that newly trained skills and behaviours are practised continuously after training has taken place;
    • to make sure that their staff improve and develop continuously;
    • to increase their staff’s motivation;
    • to increase their own job satisfaction;
    • to achieve the goals of the training plan by ensuring that what is trained is actually implemented.
  • It is especially useful for those who say:
    • “We carry out a lot of training, but little is put into practice, and we don’t seem to be getting any better.”
    • “The staff don’t seem motivated to attend training classes.”
    • “Now that the training is over, how should I follow up?”

Main Topics

  • A large number of training transfer strategies will be trained that should be used BEFORE, DURING, and AFTER training by the Team Leader, Trainer, and the Trainee.
  • There will be a post-workshop project to practise the techniques.

Duration

  • 1 day.

Participants

  • Senior Managers, Team Leaders, and Departmental Trainers.
